1. Introduction to EMC Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing

Electromagnetic compatibility laboratory is a special type of laboratory established for electromagnetic compatibility testing. First explain the basic concept of electromagnetic compatibility: it refers to the ability of electromagnetic systems and subsystems to work normally in their respective electromagnetic environments without degrading their performance due to electromagnetic interference. In order to verify whether the EMC design of electronic and electrical equipment is good, it is necessary to test the emission interference and transmission characteristics of various electromagnetic interference sources and whether the interfered equipment can withstand the load during the entire process of research and development, and verify whether the equipment meets the relevant electromagnetic compatibility. Standards and Specifications.

2. Extensive Electromagnetic Measurement——Introduction of EMC Electromagnetic Compatibility Laboratory

GCDC EMC Laboratory has established complete electromagnetic compatibility (EMI, EMS) capabilities in South China, with one 10m anechoic chamber, four 3m anechoic chambers, five shielded rooms and EMS anti-interference rooms; of which 10m Fahe a 9*6*6 meets the EMC test requirements of medical equipment, the maximum voltage and current can reach 380V/200A (three-phase) and 1000V/200 (DC), with wide test capability and accurate test data, it can provide complete CE, FCC, VCCI and other national EMC regulations and pre-test services.

3. Electromagnetic Compatibility Certification Project

Americas: FCC SDOC, FCC ID, ICES, ISED ID, etc.;

Europe: CE-EMC, etc.;

Asia: CCC, CQC, BSMI, KC, VCCI, PSE, etc.;

Australia: C-TICK, RCM, etc.;

4. Electromagnetic Compatibility Testing Items

Electromagnetic compatibility testing includes electromagnetic interference testing (EMI) and electromagnetic susceptibility testing (EMS). Electromagnetic Compatibility Standards require that products related to electronic and electrical equipment must meet the emission specifications of radiated interference and conducted interference, as well as the specifications of radiation tolerance and conduction tolerance.

(1) Electromagnetic interference (EMI, including CE and RE), the main contents of the test are: the test of the conduction interference and radiation interference emission of electronic and electrical products and equipment in various electromagnetic noise environments, and the interference during various signal transmissions Test of transfer characteristics.

(2) The main contents of the electromagnetic susceptibility (EMS, including CS and RS) test are:

1. Radiation tolerance test for electric field and magnetic field;

2. Conduction tolerance test for injected interference of power lines, control lines, signal lines, ground lines, etc.;

3. Tolerance test for electrostatic discharge and various transient electromagnetic waves (surge or electrical fast transient).
